It's a story of love at first sight and sacrifice. Romeo and Juliet, the famous characters from Shakespeare's work, have been elevated as the epitome of Love with a capital L. But amidst family conflicts, spilled blood, and death as the only way out... When you dig a little deeper, can we truly speak of love at first sight? Is the love story of the two teenagers really a model today ?
Love at first sight, really ?
In Verona, in the 14th century, it's the end of summer, and young Romeo Montague is melancholic. To counter this gloomy mood, his friends take him to one of the most anticipated parties of the moment. Inside the villa, the three teenagers joke around and enjoy the festivities. The entire Veronese high society is gathered in the hall adorned with rich tapestries, golden candelabras, and thick carpets. After a while, Romeo turns his head towards the garden and locks eyes with a young girl whose innocence overwhelms him. This beautiful stranger has a name: Juliet Capulet.
