In this weeks episode Vonia covers the 90s cult classic, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion! This female buddy comedy follows two pin head (wtf does that mean???) besties headed back to Tucson, Az for their 10 year reunion. Since one of them is unemployed and both are single they decide to pretend to be successful business woman to impress their old classmates and hilarity ensues. While certain aspects of this movie bother us (pretty please stop fretting over your weight lovelies) at its core it’s a movie about the power of female friendships and the importance of owning who you are!

Then Averyn tells the truly gut wrenching true story about the murder of Skylar Neese. After sneaking out of the house with her two best friends to drive around and smoke some weed Skylar never returns home. Her besties swear they dropped her off a block from her home but police aren’t buying their story. What did these girls know? Was there a horrible accident or a drug overdose? When the truth comes out everyone and I mean literally everyone is shocked and horrified to their core.
