Ron Connley is a true Australian bushman. Born and raised in the shadow of Mount Hotham in Victoria's High Country, the 84-year-old spent his youth travelling the countryside winning bull-dogging championships and campdrafting titles. But his proudest moment? Taking out the Man from Snowy River title - twice - in his 60s.

He's never strayed from his mountain home for too long, and is still based on his childhood sheep station. But don't let that fool you.
