Host Mariana Rivas ’19 talks to Ron Pitcock, acting dean of the John V. Roach Honors College, who leads a course called Cultural Memory. The class examines how society interprets and remembers monumental events such as John F. Kennedy’s assassination and 9/11. In this podcast, Pitcock gives a mini-lesson — in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic — on what it means to have an event etched into the cumulative memory of a nation.
