Our Team Introduction and Vision as we introduce one another.

Join Host Chris Ruano from VenturAthlete, who currently serves on and leads teams in the Wildland and Municipal Fire-Service in Southern California. Having served both as as a Forest Service Hotshot and as a leader on Wildland and Municipal fire crews “Roo” is especially passionate about fitness leadership methods and training. 

Guest and Co-Host Max Quiroz is a new crew member on a year round Wildland fire crew.  Having a back ground in exercise science and a tenacious passion for physical fitness, Max is striving to provide athletes with clarity and insight as he and others begin their careers in the fire service.

Guests and hosts will draw form their experience on Wildland Fire Crews, Municipal Fire Departments, and the greater Tactical Athlete and Fitness community in order to better equip the Tactical Athlete Community for the challenges of an arduous, high-commitment lifestyle.
