The company intends to use the funds to make key hires in both Scottsdale, Arizona, and San Francisco, California and increase platform capabilities.

Led by Jessica Chen, Alexis Valerio, and Dan Mathews, Room8 provides an iOS and Android mobile app that recommends compatible roommates at no cost to users.
