Cameron and Anna spend this episode in the series “Parenting in the Spirit” talking about the glorious truth of Romans 8:1: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Though parents may feel judgment from a variety of sources: other parents, parenting advice, church, extended family, and even from themselves, God does not judge us for our parenting failures, nor are we judged for our children’s behavior. Because we share in the perfect record of Jesus Christ, God does not condemn believing parents but forgives us and covers our transgressions.

In this first episode, Cameron and Anna begin in Galatians 5 with the fruit of the Spirit and give some context for what it actually means to take one step at a time in the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit. Join us for this new season; we hope it will offer parents comfort, wisdom, and peace in the companionship of our good God.
“We are very vulnerable to slipping into the flesh when it comes to our kids.”
