1 Thessalonians 1:2-10 shows us The Marks Of A Model Church. A healthy church is marked by faith that works, love that serves, hope that endures, and a witness that spreads.

1 Corinthians 15 is a reminder that we do not worship the memory of Jesus. We

worship a risen, living Lord. Because He Lives, the believer has a living hope.

In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul reminds us that Christian love reflects the character of

Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 6:12-20, Paul is confronting the Corinthian church about their

sexual immorality. His corrective reminder: Because you belong to Christ, you

must be devoted to Him.

This message from 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5 reminds us that God works through weakness so that He alone receives the glory.

In John 5:25-29, Jesus speaks of two future resurrections. Those resurrections

are described in Revelation 20:4-6 & 11-15. One resurrection leads to everlasting

joy, and the other leads to everlasting judgment. Which resurrection will you

experience?

When Jesus speaks to the churches in Revelation 2-3, He uses the phrase “I

know…” on multiple occasions. This sermon will cover His words to the churches

as a reminder that Jesus intimately knows us. The One who knows you completely

also loves you perfectly.

The Scriptures are clear that those who reject the truth will face everlasting punishment. Those who receive God’s grace will enter into eternal rest. This message from 2 Thessalonians 2:9-14 focuses on where the responsibility falls for each of those eternal destinies.

In 2 Thessalonians, Paul delves into some deep theology, but the final chapter

contains some extremely practical instruction. Jesus is coming back, but how

should the Christian behave until He does? 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15 tells what we

should do while we wait.

Many believers get distracted from the truth of the gospel by pursuing theological

puzzles and empty, endless discussions. This message from 1 Timothy 1:3-7 is a

reminder for us to keep the main thing the main thing.
