Team Hope have been delivering your shoeboxes to Albania and last week they delivered Roscommon’s 2,000+ boxes to happy children in Kosovo. Adrianne speaks with Team Hope’s CEO, Deborah Lowry to hear about all the wonderful work that the volunteers here have been doing. Deborah thanks the people of Roscommon for their generosity and tells the story of the 3- millionth shoebox, which was donated by Ruben in County Monaghan and given to a young boy in Kosovo just this week. Earlier this year Rosfm ran a media training course on behalf of Worklinks Roscommon, for the Brothers of Charity and Peter Triest Training Centre. The training went very well and the trainees enjoyed their time in the studios so much that they came back for a Christmas Special with Adrianne. Here 5 of those trainees, Shaun Mullen, Padraig Scanlon, Frank Whyte, Eoin Fenton (Henley) and Aidan Thomas have some fun chatting with Adrianne about all things Christmas, from dinner to movies, and they play some of their favourite Christmas songs.

On this week's Feel Good Friday, Joe Bambrick shared an interview he did with Theresa O' Reilly from The Midland Branch of The Irish Guide Dogs Association who spoke about Ambassador guide dogs, the work of the organisation, fundraising and events, the services offered to the community, the training of guide dogs and the need for volunteers.

Peter Boyd is a remarkable man who has lived with chronic pain since his twenties, being one of the few men diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, but also Arthritis and 5 other chronic illnesses by his early thirties, but he has used his experiences with chronic pain and Fibromyalgia to become an advocate for this condition. He went on to start up a blog, going by the moniker of Fibrofella and became a Services Support Officer with Arthritis Ireland. Here Adrianne chats with Peter about his first symptoms, the long journey to finding out he had Fibromyalgia, how his life has changed and how he is now living with the condition and in a much better place. With Supermoons, Aurora Borealis and meteor showers lighting up the sky this week, Adrianne is once again delighted to chat with David Moore founder of Astronomy Ireland. He also talks about some upcoming online training for budding astronomers, their magazine and how to take great photos of the sky at night with just your smartphone.
