I’m back! I took a trip back home, to St Lucia where I got the time to be with family and loved ones to get the reset I most certainly needed. Also, I give an update on life.

We may struggle a lot with finding and keeping hope. This week I wish to speak about the importance of maintaining a positive outlook on life and  why trying our hardest to see the silver lining is paramount to internal peace and happiness.

This week’s episode is focused on Friendship and its importance. I read from the collection of poems, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran.

Navigating my new life has been quite an adventure, but in the midst of all the excitement there are times where I am reminded that I am taking on this new journey on my own. I am rebuilding on my own. In those times, a feeling of loneliness settles in. Listen to how I navigate those moments.

My grandfather, Francis, played a very big role in the early years of my life. Through my eyes, he was such a great human being. I had honest conversations with him. He told me stories and I learned the Kweyol language through my interactions with him. I lost him at a young age, but he lives forever through the memories I have of him.
