Lindsay and I have decided to pause the podcast for a while. So this is probably the last episode for 2020.
Thanks to all our guests as you have all been brilliant and quite literally we couldn’t have created the podcast without you.
Everything we’ve put live so far will remain available to you for free for a very long time (we have no plans to take it down). So if you’ve not yet listened to some of the episodes - now’s the time to listen to them all! And if you want to relisten you can too.
You will find everything at Roselandpodcast.com, Apple Podcasts, iTunes, Spotify and other great podcast apps.
If you want to make sure you hear the second we’re back - then we recommend finding us on a podcast app and hitting the subscribe button.
Enjoy the autumn!
Be kind and stay safe.

It’s a very sociable club for both players and spectators organising a lot of events throughout the year including the annual tour, unfortunately, Rich couldn’t talk about the tours as what goes on tour stays on tour…

Time to find out about Wild Roseland’s wild flower areas, and how you can create your own.
INTERVIEW
Simon sent us in a TON of resources if you want to find out more about what we were chatting about, you can find them all in the shownotes at roselandpodcast.com
That includes details of how to get hold of a new book “Flora of Cornwall” which Simon describes as
“an excellent comprehensive book with Great intros to habitats etc and then details of where all species have been recorded. All from information collected by amateur botanists across Cornwall.”
The book isn’t widely available - not from Amazon or Waterstones, so we’ve included a link to the flyer with details of how you can order direct from the author. Old school!
It’s quite a big file - so be patient as it loads - see the flyer
Wild Flowers and Pollinators
As well as links to Wild Roseland ( www.wildroseland.org) to get involved and offer help with volunteer work parties there are a number of useful links if people are thinking about wild flower patches in their own gardens and encouraging pollinators....

The first step is to drop us an email to [email protected] with your ideas and any questions you’ve got.
Everything is recorded in advance - it doesn’t go out live.
You don’t even have to be willing to come on the show - if you have a recipe, a poem, a story - you can record it at home and send us the mp3 file OR just email it in and we can read it out for you.
I hope this will help us all feel a little less alone, and connected to our wonderful community.
