The BiG Scuba Podcast

Ross Mclaren

Listen Later

Gemma and Ian chat to Ross McLaren   Ross is a chemistry teacher in Scotland who dives at the weekends…He talks about the incredible life he seas in the Scottish sea lochs and how breath taking it is.  He has been taking photos using a go pro and more recently the Olympus TG-6. One of the highlights has been working with BBC Scotland and their online platform “BBC the Social” to write, record, present and produce some short videos about diving. The topics have ranged from diving itself and how its helped his mental health, to history of some of our incredible shipwrecks, our impact on the underwater world and even a little one on photography.

As Ross says “I’m no expert in marine biology, history, photography or even diving, I am literally someone who loves taking photos of our underwater world and trying to show it off to the world in what little ways I can”
