*Rotary Club of Bengal Presidency presents Presto Matri Samman 2023*

Rotary Club of Bengal Presidency presents Presto Matri Samman, 2023 which is a "Grand Puja Award". Matri Samman is being conducted from 2017 and this year it is the Seventh Edition of Matri Samman.

Matri Samman organised by Rotary Club of Bengal Presidency is unique as, the surplus from this event is dedicated to a social cause for uplifting the havenots and deprived.

President Rtn. Arka Kumar Nag said, "This year Matri Samman will be different as our sole purpose is not only awarding the Pujas but giving back to the society."

Following the vission of President, Rtn. Arka Kumar Nag, Team Matri Samman conducted ''দশপ্রহরণধারিণী" : The Official Banner Launch for Matri Samman. The banner was launched by the 'Mothers' of Sandhya Mita Old Age Home on October 14th, 2023 as the unique idea this year was 'মায়ের হাতে মায়ের বোধহন" (Inauguration of 'Mother' by Mothers).

On October 15th, 2023 on the occasion of Prathama, the team in association with Bassetti India conducted ''দুর্গতিনাশিনী" : A Clothes Donation and Distribution Drive at Gariahat for the havenots. The idea behind this was 'এ পুজো আমার, তোমার, সব্বার' (This Puja is mine, yours and everyone elses).

This year, Presto Matri Samman received 200+ Puja Registrations. Of these Pujas, 60 Pujas qualified for the Second Round. The Final Round Judging was conducted on October 17th, 2023.

The 'Best of the Best' 12 Pujas will be Awarded on October 19th, 2023 at Presto Matri Samman Puja Awards and Parikrama.
