The first round of the 2021 NRL Season is finally upon us, so we've an analysis of each team's 21 man team list and all 8 match ups for Round 1.
In this episode, we cover:
🕑 1:30 - the Cooper Cronk coaching debacle that was in the news this week, which saw us divided on whether or not he should be allowed to serve as a coach at both the Roosters and the Storm.
🕑 15:20 - easily the game of the round between the Storm & Rabbitohs and some surprising tactics in Wayne Bennett's line-up
🕑 35:00 - Knights v Bulldogs. Can an injury ravaged Knights get the win over the much hyped Bulldogs, or will the Doggies get their dream start to 2021?
🕑 49:30 - Broncos v Eels. Some surprising selections from the Broncos, both good and bad - but will it be enough to overcome the very settled Top 8 side in the Parramatta Eels?
🕑 1:09:30 - Warriors v Titans. It's the first hit out for the much hyped Titans - where an Origin winger couldn't even make the team. Can they beat a much improved Warriors side?
🕑 1:20:00 - Roosters v Manly. Manly are lacking 1 x Turbo Tom and 1 x hooker. The Roosters are out for redemption. This one seems pretty clear. Or is it?
🕑 1:31:00 - Panthers v Cowboys. The last game of Super Saturday. Some are saying it'll be a bloodbath? Can the game's best lock in Taumolo lead a new look Cowboys team to a Round 1 upset?
🕑 1:39:30 - Raiders v Tigers. The Tigers think they'll be drinking the Raiders lime milk after they thrashed the Sea Eagles in their trial match. Can they step up once again against the Raiders in the nations capital?
🕑 1:59:30 - Dragons v Sharks. Two Top 8 contenders meet in this Round 1 clash - with both teams fairly unchanged from last season. This one will come down to who has improved the most over the short offseason.
