On this episode of Round the Rotary, Kate Heiken (Drilling Manager - Ovintiv) provides us with an in-depth discussion of her background and how each role, different in it's discipline would help shape her for her current role. She discusses how going from one discipline to the next (drilling, completions to reservoir) would only help to understand what drives and motivates each team of an organization, thus allowing effective communication and understanding of seeing a project in its entirety. We discussed career development and how it's important to get out of one's comfort zone in order to truly grow.
