Rounding the Bases

It's the final episode of Rounding the Bases for this season! Leo, Adam, Eliav and Ethan tie a bow on the baseball season and grade Ben Greenspan's first year at the helm. Then, the crew recaps the Austin Regional and reflects on the 2024 softball season before a game of stump the host.

Ethan is joined by Caleb and Adam to discuss the last two weeks of 'Cats Baseball and make their picks for the final series of the season. Then, the guys break down what went wrong for the softball team in the Big Ten Tournament before previewing the Austin Regional.

It's a softball extravaganza! Adam and Mikey join Ethan to recap an electric weekend series against Indiana that clinched Northwestern's third consecutive Big Ten regular season title. Then, the trio goes game-by-game to make the Rounding the Bases official predictions for this week's Big Ten Tournament.

Brea and Gabe join Ethan to recap the last two weeks of diamond sports action. They discuss why the baseball team has hit a roadblock recently before previewing Iowa and discussing what they want to see from the team in the final stretch. Then, the group recaps two exciting weekends of softball and makes their prediction for a Northwestern-Indiana series that will decide the Big Ten regular season title.

Henry and Leo sit down with Ethan to discuss a duo of impressive series wins over Maryland. First, the guys talk about the baseball team's sudden resurgence before discussing softball's continued dominance as both teams inch closer to tournament play. And in honor of Ashley Miller's 600th career strikeout, the gang plays the classic game: "Is this a batter Ashley Miller struck out or a member of the Indiana government?"

Brendan, Patrick and Ethan sit down to talk about Northwestern's two diamond sports teams, which are trending in vastly different directions. The guys break down what's gone wrong for Northwestern baseball and what's gone right for Northwestern softball and preview both teams' upcoming series against Maryland. Finally, Ethan introduces a fundamentally evil trivia segment that you won't want to miss.

Claire and Henry join Ethan for this season's long-awaited debut episode of Rounding the Bases. The trio does a temperature check on the baseball team before a engaging in a heated debate over who has been the MVP of the softball squad. With conference play in full swing, the season is heating up!

David Gold and Miles French joined Perri to break down some Northwestern baseball and softball statistics.
