The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is to hold two public events next week; one online on Wednesday 8 October and a face to face event the next day. Thursday 9 October at 2pm.
Attendees will hear a presentation and can ask questions
Meanwhile MP Damian Hinds has written to the Trust about his concerns.
He says “I do understand that in many cases recovery at home after an acute hospital stay is optimal.”
But he says we need a fundamental assessment of the total rehabilitation ward capacity needed in our area, and, he reminds us, these community hospitals also provide end-of-life care.
He welcomes the extra time but the limited information on the replacement service is a concern
