Roy Scammell: “You want to be a Stuntman? Be ready to duck”
In this episode we talk to Roy Scammell. Roy began his career doubling Dirk Bogarde on ONCE A JOLLY SWAGMAN and he quickly got himself noticed and not just by the ladies!!!!
His career is a litany of iconic film and TV programs from MONTE CARLO OR BUST, THE ITALIAN JOB, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and most notably today ALIEN where he divized many of the creatures movements and falls.
A member of HAVOC from 1965 he performed and created stunts with DEREK WARE on DOCTOR WHO and SOME MOTHERS DO 'AV 'EM which became a UK classic and launched the career of a certain MICHAEL CRAWFORD.
