Petersfield’s Mayor, Councillor Lesley Farrow, accepted the first poppy in a Town Square ceremony for this year’s Appeal for Veterans and their families.

Last year over £30,000 was raised in Petersfield.

Mike Waddington spoke to local RBL Chairman, Chris Paige, and veteran of 22 years, Daz, about the appeal.

The ceremony was opened by Town Cryer, Faye Thompson.
