Prayer and Faith are very important in our relationship with Jesus Christ because praying is our way of communicating to God and having faith in him shows our trust in him.  It takes faith to pray, and praying shows our faith.  

The importance of a solid foundation talks about the Gospel and how for non-believers and believers it is important to be reminded of what Jesus Christ did for us and to learn to be like Him daily.
