Sunshine Coast 2032 is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, established in 2022 to maximise the opportunities provided by the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Driven by the needs and aspirations of our region, Sunshine Coast 2032 aims to deliver enduring benefits across sectors for the community. We seek to drive economic success, foster positive community sentiment, and enhance the liveability and environment of our region.

Sunshine Coast 2032 operates under the direction of a Board of Directors and is driven by volunteers united by a common purpose to liaise, connect, and unite with stakeholders through collaborative relationships in accordance with the community to help bring positive change in society focused on creating a community that is inclusive, supportive, and empowered.

The core values of Sunshine Coast 2032 are based on three key areas: integrity, accountability, and progression. The Board of Directors is assisted by three Board Committees, a Communications Advisory Group, and six Teams. These are:

Board Committees: Finance, Audit and Risk Management; Communications, Fundraising and Marketing; Board Performance, Planning and Nominations.

Sunshine Coast 2032 Teams: Sport and Recreation; Business and Tourism; Infrastructure; Arts and Culture; Community and Volunteers; Environment and Sustainability.

We work collaboratively with other stakeholders including all levels of government and other Olympic bodies including the Organising Committee of the Olympic Games. Our role is to amplify their objectives and ensure there is an ongoing link between government, Olympic bodies, and the Sunshine Coast community.
