Class is in session. Dread is an often understood and underappreciated aspect of dating and relationships. While it does cross paths with power and frame, it should not be mistaken for being controlling or manipulative. Dread is what gives men options and avoids/curbs bad behaviors (eg. the bait & switch of letting themselves go) by demonstrating or implying one has other options. The implication is she is easily replaceable. The crux of how dread functions is by showing through your actions and life in general (rather than telling) that women are not your mission.
