We are back and a bit off the Mark series for a moment… during a class at church on a Sunday I taught on Romans 12:1-2, and man it just hit deep. I had read it the night before and just felt this need to make sure my students understood what this was about… so here is the updated white board topic for you.

Looking at the scripture today you are going to see how God has provided His mercies to give us the ability to prove His will. As we go through this we will use the following verses as well…

2 Tim 2:19; Romans 7:15; Isaiah 41:10; John 15:19; Titus 2:11-14; 2 Cor 5:17

Big Idea: To know Jesus, is to know the word

It’s in the word of God that will know the heart of God, you will know how to deal with a sinful world. It is what is to come in heaven that matters to Christian’s.

Colossians 3:1-2; John 1:1-3; 1 Cor 1:18

Application: How often are you praying? How often are you repenting? How often are you submitting? Most importantly, how often are you reading the word, not just reading… but in the Bible, studying and applying the word?

Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path.

Picking back up in Mark… Jesus takes the disciples into Capernum for someone on one teaching.

As they debate who will be the greatest in the kingdom, Jesus will explain to them and teach who is the most important and why.

The last of the Husband Scorecard…

This wraps up this section and we have to take some had looks at some of my own leadership with in my home. Couple scores aren’t to good, but that’s the beauty of having the Bible to lead a husband, and Jesus as the perfect example of how men are to be good leaders and good servants at the same time.

Yes it’s been quite sometime but here we are. We look at the feeding of the 4000, much the same as the last time Jesus feeds a huge group… well this week we go a little beyond that to the blind man he heals.
