"The world is a mess, Europe is a mess...everything is a mess, and it is very challenging to find a way out of this situation." In the opening episode of the Riga Security Forum 2023, Edijs Bošs talks with the President of Latvia H.E. Edgars Rinkēvičs.

The conversation analyzes the causes of international escalation, development scenarios, and potential consequences, as well as how Latvia can navigate through this turmoil, not get lost, and not wander astray.

The project is the result of a successful cooperation between the Latvian Institute of International Affairs, the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Baltic States, the Embassies of the United States, Poland, Canada, Spain as well as international provider of defence, security and aviation life cycle support services and technology solutions “Patria”, Riga Graduate School of Law and 5G Techritory forum.
