The Dandenong JAYCO Rangers come into this Saturday Night's home game against the Adelaide Lightning in 2nd position with a 6-3 record, with the Lightning sitting on the bottom of the table at 0-8.

The team comes off a 2nd win this season over cross town rivals the Melbourne Boomers 78-69, set up with an outstanding first half to the game.

The Rangers most senior and decorated player is Jacinta Kennedy, who is in her 2nd stint, having played her first stint as Jacinta Hamilton (winning 2 championships), before marrying former Socceroo Josh Kennedy and starting a family. Jacinta had 8 years off from the basketball scene and she supported Josh as he played in Germany and Japan as well as the Socceroos before coming back for in 2015.

Jacinta's WNBL career is littered with awards, winning titles with Canberra & Dandenong, voted into the WNBL All Star Five in 2004 and 2006, and winning the Grand Final MVP in the second of back-to-back titles with the Jayco Rangers in 2004 and 2005. Jacinta was also part of the Australian Opals 2006 Gold winning Commonwealth Games team.
