Shane is a career racing journalist, having worked for Racetrack Magazine and Turf Monthly before becoming the Australian writer for Thoroughbred Times (US) and as a consultant for Tabcorp International. He now write for Gallop magazine in Europe and the SA industry mag The Races, and is currently completing a book on women in the Australian horse racing, The Sport of Queens.
