Jan Penarrubia, a DJ from Bern and founder of the label Invite Records (2024), has been an active force in the electronic music scene since 2008. His sound blends microhouse, acid, and techno with jazz influences, securing him a solid place in the Swiss minimal techno scene. Additionally, he served as the manager of the Studio Club in Bern, a renowned venue known for its microhouse and minimal techno sound, which remained open until 2019. Under his leadership, the club played a key role in shaping the region’s electronic music landscape and attracted both local and international guests.
