In this episode, I am talking with with the author of Sober Curious and Material Girl Mystical World and founder of The Numinous all about how clarity is the goal of recovery. When we look at the word recover, from a broad perspective we can each indulge in it a bit more. We all have to do some recovering, but it's not only about being recovering from something. Recovery, as I approach it, and as Ruby addresses in this episode, is something to move towards. If we limit recovery to only is the previous definition of recovering from something, we continue to stigmatize and push people away from wanting to grow. Embracing what it is we are recovering leaves stigma behind and we have a place to stand.
I am in recovery and so very happy, not because of my time but because of my growth and the depth of which I love myself.
