In the silence of Buenos Aires' La Recoleta Cemetery, the air carries the scent of wilted jasmine and aged stone. It's well past midnight, and the living have long since left the grounds, leaving only the wind to whisper secrets through the tombs. But tonight, as on so many nights before, a sound pierces the silence—not the rustle of leaves, but a deliberate thump, muffled yet insistent, like a fist against wood from the wrong side of a grave.

It emanates from a particular tomb, its door ajar in eternal invitation. There, frozen in sculpture, stands a young woman, her hand outstretched as if pleading for release, her eyes averted in quiet horror. 

She is the girl who died twice, and her ghost, they say, still knocks from within—trapped between the worlds.
