When they first met in 2018, Sam tried teaching Steph how to play rugby - and this shows how passionate Sam is about growing the game in the US. 

Sam grew up in Australia and his love for rugby started at a young age. His career brought him to Houston followed by New York.

This year has been HUGE for Sam and Rugby New York since they just won the 2022 MLR Championship! Sam takes us back to that big day and also gives advice to aspiring players.
