Ross begins the 3rd hole at Wombat Hills and hits his tee shot however it may have gone OB, therefore he plays a provisional ball - the provisional ball clearly goes OB.  Now very frustrated, Ross plays a 3rd ball from the teeing area without saying anything, which lands on the fairway - the 1st ball is found within 3 minutes.  Which is his ball in play and why?
