On this week's episode we discuss the rules of the road.
Our vehicle gets us where we want to go and allows us freedom and peace of mind. In a way, a car is a lot like us.
A car runs best with meticulous up keep, an abundance of safety, and a generous amount of patience and cooperation with other drivers. If we ignore our vehicle, much like our mental and physical health, things start to break down to the point of disrepair. It’s important to remember the basics.
Keep up on routine maintenance, observe the speed limit, and most importantly, do not ignore the warning signs. If your fuel gauge says you're running on empty, you better pay attention and put some fuel in your tank! It's also helpful to slow down and be honest.
Listen in as we compare and break down several examples relating proper driving etiquette to how we approach our own mental health. On the road of life there are familiar highways and there are also streets that make us feel a little lost.
No matter how lost we may be we can move forward relentlessly if we are brave enough to ask for directions and humble enough to follow where they lead.
