A new space race is looming, and as we transition from the age of discovery to that of security and commerce, what actions must the United States and its allies and partners take to safeguard the future of this global commons? What legal frameworks, investments, and new partnerships must be made or changed to enhance a rules-based international order in outer space? Join us to explore these questions with Dr. Jessica West, Senior Researcher at the Canadian peace research institute Project Ploughshares; Dr. Scott Pace, Director of the Space Policy Institute and Professor of the Practice of International Affairs at the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs; and Therese Jones, Senior Director of Policy at the Satellite Industry Association.
