A gas tanker carrying 22,000 litres of LPG veered across three lanes of traffic on Dandenong Road in Carnegie, hitting one oncoming vehicle, two parked cars and two power lines before crashing into a residential front yard. Three people were taken to hospital including the truck driver, passenger and a motorist from one of the struck vehicles. The driver and passenger reportedly told police they didn't remember what happened during the incident.
