Jonah is probably the best-known of the 12 minor prophets, as his story is famously known throughout children’s books and even culture at large. What makes Jonah unique apart from the other prophets, is the fact that his ministry was a colossal success… However, Jonah resents the fact that the people he rebuked, actually came to know the Lord. Jonah ultimately believed his ideals were better than God's, which resulted from his own self-righteousness, and elitism.

In this teaching series, we’ll take a deep dive—no pun instead, in the parallels between Jonah’s life, and ours as Christians in the West, living in 2023. We probably have more in common with Jonah than we would like to admit…
