What a pleasure it was for the SportsBoys team to have Bart Yasso (Mayor of Running) join us for this episode.
For those that don't know who this man is, his resume is off the charts. Bart started running in 1977 and was driven by his brother George Yasso. As he got into running some of his accomplishments included participating in 5 Ironmans, running the Badwater (146 miles) in Death Valley, ran races on all 7 continents, cycled across the United States TWICE, and last but not least he is the founder of the Yasso 800's which are used today around the world to train for marathons.
Having Bart on the podcast with us was such an eye opener and hearing his stories was such a pleasure. This episode is longer than most of the Running Man segments but it could have gone longer. We could have listened to him talk for hours.
I could keep typing more about him but I want everyone to listen to this great episode and how much fun it was for all of us. Thank you again Bart for taking the time to join us. Enjoy the show everyone!!
