Rupert Wates has released a new album For the People, new songs written mostly in the first person, based on old English folk tales.

Rupert records his albums in one take, playing the whole thing straight through and then turning that into a CD.  This way we, the listeners, get to hear a “live show” coming straight from the artist’s creativity. He plays guitar unaccompanied, except on one song, though there are times you’d swear there were other instruments as well.

The 10 songs on this record offer listeners the opportunity to look through someone else’s eyes at aspects of the human condition. This perspective can be transformational!
