Hey Everyone!
Today we have a reading of an old article from 2021 by Des Hennelly on the state of housing in Ireland and how we got here. As important now as it was almost 3 years ago when it was first written. Delving into the development of the housing market since the foundation of the state Des notes the impact neoliberalism and capitalism have had and what needs to happen if we are to tackle the housing crisis
This article first appeared in Rupture Issue 4, you can read the article online here

Hey everyone!
This week we're joined by 2 of our comrades across the Atlantic from the Reform and Revolution caucus in the DSA. We discuss the current state of the DSA, the recent R&R conference in Portland Oregon (with Rise correspondent Robin Koenig) and the upcoming 2024 US Presidential elections and what role the socialist left can play as we gear up for the worlds worst rematch.
Check out our comrades here!
(Note due to technical difficulties the majority of Phillips audio was sadly lost, we attempted to recover what we could)

This week we're joined by freelance journalist Garrison Lovely to discuss his latest article in Jacobin Magazine 'Can humanity survive AI?'
Whos behind AI? Where is the development of AI going? What does this mean for workers? and what can a socialist future look like with AI?
These and more are the questions we discuss out, as well as the grim future that awaits us if steps aren't taken to combat the billionaires who run these AI systems

Welcome back to Rupture Radio!
This week we have a reading of Sarah Frazer's article from issue 7 of Rupture where she makes the case for full legalization of drugs. Frazer challenges conventional thinking on the subject of drug legislation and argues that decriminalization does not go far enough to help drug users and wider society. If we are going to have a sensible, ethical and compassionate drug policy, we must topple capitalism.
