Star Jackie Chan has revealed that the long-awaited sequel Rush Hour 4 is in the early stages of development. The original Rush Hour action-comedy trilogy was released between 1998 and 2007 before going dormant until a short-lived television reboot in 2016. Although a potential Rush Hour 4 has been rumored for quite some time, the last time that the project was widely mentioned was in 2019 when Chan's co-star Chris Tucker hinted that the film was coming together.
