💁🏻 Concept: Ransom
The Bible teaches that Jesus gave His life as a ransom for many. A ransom is the price paid to set someone free from bondage. Humanity was enslaved to sin, condemned under God’s holy justice, and powerless to save itself. In love, Jesus offered His own blood as the ransom—not to Satan, but to God—to satisfy divine justice and redeem us. By His death and resurrection, He purchased our freedom, secured our forgiveness, and brought us into God’s family.

💁🏻 Concept: Random Mutation
Random mutation teaches that changes in life come from accidental DNA errors during reproduction, which supposedly drive evolution. This view says life arose by chance, without purpose. Christianity, however, declares that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all life. While Christians may differ on how creation happened, what is certain is that life is not random but the result of God’s purposeful will. Nothing in creation is by accident—God is present in every cell, every breath, and every living being.

“Raised in glory” refers to the transformation of our resurrection bodies, which will be glorious, incorruptible, and suited for our eternal reign with Christ. The Bible emphasizes the continuity and transformation of our bodies—not the abandonment of the physical, but its glorification. 💁🏻 Concept: Purity of the Church
The purity of the Church is not merely about external order but about the inward holiness of its people. Sanctification is God’s work of making His people more like Christ, cleansing them from sin and setting them apart for His purposes. Purgatory is a temporary state for souls who die in God’s grace but still need purification from venial sins or temporal punishment. These souls have assured salvation and will enter heaven once fully cleansed. It is not a second chance for the damned, but the final stage in the journey to glory. The living can assist these souls through prayers, Masses, and indulgences, helping hasten their purification and entry into the eternal joy of God’s presence.

Providence is the doctrine that God governs all things at all times. He not only created the universe, but also sustains it, directs it, and works through every detail—great or small—for His purposes. God’s meticulous sovereignty: He upholds, directs, and ordains all things, from the rising of the sun to the fall of a sparrow. God’s providence is not random or cold—it is personal, wise, and good. For the believer, this truth brings deep assurance: nothing happens outside the control of our loving Father.

💁🏻 Concept: Propitiation
Propitiation refers to a sacrifice that absorbs and satisfies God’s righteous wrath against sin, turning His anger into favor. In the Old Testament, sacrifices symbolized atonement, but they could never fully appease God’s justice. In Christ, however, God Himself provides the perfect propitiation. Jesus bore the wrath we deserved and, by doing so, reconciled us to God. This act flows entirely from God’s grace—His love moved Him to satisfy His justice through the cross. Propitiation guards both God’s holiness and His mercy, proving that salvation is both costly and secure.

💁🏻 Concept: Prophecy
From the first pages of Genesis to the last chapter of Revelation, the Bible tells one unified story—Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Completion—confirmed by prophecies that have already come true. The flow of the Bible started from the creation of the world (Genesis 1), the entrance of sin (Genesis 3:15), the coming of Redeemer (Isaiah 53), and the victory of His Kingdom (Daniel 2:44; Revelation 21). Jesus’ prophecy in Matthew 24 primarily concerns the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 as God’s covenantal judgment on Israel. The “great tribulation” and “this generation” refer to first-century events, not the end of the world. “Principalities and powers” refer to ranks of demonic forces operating in spiritual realms, as seen in passages like Ephesians 6:12 and Colossians 2:15. These terms describe the organized hierarchy of evil opposing God’s kingdom. These forces are understood not as equals to God but as created beings under His sovereign rule—even in their rebellion. Christ’s victory at the cross disarmed these powers, and through union with Christ, believers share in His triumph. While they still wage war against the saints, their defeat is certain, and the believer stands firm by grace through faith, clothed in the armor of God.
