Parapsychology research at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI), now known as SRI International, began in the early 1970s. Scope of Study: The institute investigated four main areas: Remote Viewing, Distant Mental Influence, Whole Field Isolation, and Precognition and Retrocausality. The research program was moved to the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in 1990 as part of the Stargate Project, where it continued until the early 1990s.
