In this episode I will play for you three miniatures by the Russian composers A Varlamov, V. Kalinnikov and A. Arensky, contemporaries of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. You will hear V.Kalinninkov "Chanson Triste", A.Varlamov "The Red Sarafan" and A.Arensky "Chanson Triste". They are arranged for cello and piano or cello quartet.
