Per Your friendly request, in this episode, russianriveryoga shares on her journey of making meaningful connections with others adults. She talks about why it can be difficult to engage with others based on the culture, season of life, societal norms, and etc. She also shares on her experience of it taking six years for her and her husband finding their community in Alaska and challenges along the way.
Even though being connected has never been easier, we feel more lonely now than we have ever been. We all crave true authentic relationships with other people. But, it does not mean we should give up! Just like any other relationship, it takes work. Let’s be friends!
I hope you enjoy this episode. Thank you for being a part of this community!

It is the end of the year which means it’s time for the end of the year processing practice! Tune-in and take a moment for your Self to hold this year in its entirety: good and bad, right and wrong, joy and struggle, challenges and successes and all in-between. In order to trully let go, we need to face the truth of it. Allow me to guide you on this journey so we can create space for the new year to come and our intention setting practice (that is coming up very soon ;)
In this new episode, russianriveryoga shares on the feeling of transition between Fall to Winter and how these two seasons both share the energies of leaning into dark and loss. She also normalizes our natural longing for quietly going inward and moving at a slower pace. She reflects on her past patterns around teaching and being versus having more space to flow with nothing but consideration towards Self.
This episode is for those whose inner critical voice urges to achieve, do, and be it all. And we do, on autopilot. But, what if we stopped and had space to evaluate whether that’s the right way to be?
Tune-in to listen, pause, and reflect for yourSelf 🩵

✨It’s not too late to say our final goodbyes to 2024 and align with energy we want to create for 2025 🎇 We do this practice every year by reflecting on the year that passed and getting ourselves organized for the year to come! I love this practice because it helps me to let go of the old and anything that’s no longer serving me so I can step into a new year feeling lighter and focused on what I want to create or embody for myself 💛 I hope you can join me for this practice and will be able to set a clear intention for 2025 by the end of the episode 🙏🏼 So grab your journal, get cozy, and let’s begin again! ✨
In this new episode, russianriveryoga takes a moment of rest to share her struggles with taking those moments for herSelf. Are you also challenged by society, culture, and perhaps role models to justify your right and ability to rest? Do you also feel trapped in the system and going on autopilot for the sake of convenience or because that’s how it “should be?” Then, this episode is for you.
The truth is it doesn’t always have to be hard. There’s more to it… Can we get there without shame, guilt, and fear? Can we take care of and give ourSelves what we truly need? Wouldn’t this world be a better place then?
At the end of the episode, we also talk about “backyard” wolves, moose, and bears. You know, Alaskan nature stuff.
Tune-in to listen 💛
