Scripture: Matthew 6:19-20

19“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."

Questions: Do you find yourself being selfish? How does the realization that this world will only be here for a short time change your perspective on what's important in your life? Have you given the Lord complete ownership of all your possessions? Do you see how the act of giving will change your heart? Will this change what you have been doing?
