Hi everyone! In this episode, I talk about the recent death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg who is considered a feminist icon, but I discuss how she was still a racist. I also discuss this idea that people can still be awful while doing good things and how we shouldn't glorify people who are still bad or mediocre at best people. Here's a link to the Sherill vs. Oneida Indian Nation case that Ginsburg was on and was racist: https://michaelleroyoberg.com/uncategorized/on-the-notorious-rbg-and-sherrill/ . FYI the case I talked about in this episode, is one of many times she has been awful. She also approved fast-tracked deportations, gave Indigenous Appalachian land to a major oil pipeline, etc. Have questions? Check me out on Insta!
