In this episode (our first!!), I chat with Ruth, a friend and colleague I've gotten to know through graduate school. In Part 1, we dive into a topic that has been on Ruth's mind lately: dating. Dating as a Black woman, particularly someone seeking connections with Black men, has left Ruth feeling like her lovers have not seen or valued her. We start to explore how astrology, specifically our Midheaven, can help us uncover new ways to look at our childhood trauma, and conceptualize safer connections with others.
