This week, we heard a message about Ruth and the commitment that she made to Naomi. Ruth places this relationship above her own interests and in doing so shows what total commitment looks like. In our “you do you” society, Ruth’s actions seem crazy. However, through her life, we are able to see that a life committed to God and others brings so much more joy than living selfishly for yourself.
