Ruth's decision to journey with Naomi, her mother-in-law, sealed her promise of God's provision way before she even knew it. As she took steps to honor Naomi, walking alongside her in submission to the God of Israel, Ruth discovered her destiny. Not only did Ruth become wife to Boaz, Naomi's kinsman redeemer, but in doing so, Ruth became part of the lineage of Jesus Himself! Just think, your steps of godliness, in obedience to God's leading, open doors, both in the now and in eternity. Keep taking steps of faith because your godly conduct is yielding great rewards!
