Ruthy talks to Elena about moving to Tacoma from Los Angeles (spoiler: she upgraded to a waterproof backpack), choosing a Politics and Government major, and how she balances her P&G major with minors in African American Studies and Economics. Ruthy is also a Peer Mentor in the Office of Student Accessibility and Accommodation and has accommodations herself; she and Elena draw on her experience, as well as the experiences of her mentees, to talk about the process of obtaining accommodations and working with SAA.
