Hurricane Sandy knocked out my power for a week and this was the perfect opportunity to do some woodworking since I'm always boasting about the merits of hand tool woodworking. Of course it gets pretty dark in my shop without lights so I built a candle reflector. All you need is some scrap wood, a candle, a couple mirrors, and a few tools. You would be surprised just how much light a candle can put out when it is multiplied and focused with a reflector
